ADAM LIPPES X MATCHESFASHION.COM

Posted on by Cameron Tewson

The collaborations of Matchesfashion.com cover multiple bases of the fashion industry, from hook ups with the likes of Claire Barrow (and an accompanying video boasting bright young things Skinny Girl Diet), to Yohji Yamamoto’s Y-3 and Mary Katrantzou, there has, for the most part, been something for everyone.

And for its latest partnership the luxury retailer has struck out with something a little different, tapping Adam Lippes for his menswear debut. Comprised of 16 pieces, the New Yorker’s collection maintains the prominent aesthetic details found in his women’s mainline, with a series of smart casual pieces such as dark knits and classic sweatshirts.

“Our first Adam Lippes menswear collection is rooted in the same ideal as our iconic T-shirt,” confirms the designer, “the desire to create those pieces from your wardrobe that you will always reach for… ones that mix total refinement with comfort and ease.”
