LONDON FASHION WEEK: BACKSTAGE WITH MARY KATRANTZOU & ATELIER SWAROVSKI

Posted on by Cameron Tewson

Fashion designer Mary Katrantzou created her first collection for Atelier Swarovski in 2011, and continues to break boundaries this season with her innovative use of crystal in her new ‘Nostalgia’ collection. The 13-piece collection that will hit stores in February 2018, features loose colored crystals and Swarovski Crystal Pearls encased within high-shine rose and yellow gold plated geometric frames for a playful, expressive look.

Supported by Swarovski, Katrantzou also used over 100,000 crystals on the ready-to-wear pieces and shoes that appeared on the runway. Take a look at the backstage image gallery below!
