The collection this morning at Lanvin was vaguely Fifties with the attitude veering between rock star and haute bicycle messenger. It had such ease and with wear of the garment shown in different variations. I loved the wide-cut trouser to a slouchy jacket and t-shirts translated into loose, breezy silk. Chic shilouettes walked the runway with a chic vision of leather and a variety of suit silhouettes from linear to zoot in an airy wool – nylon blend. Bold overcoats has the same breezy light take including paper thin, leather and cotton toile. Bravo Alber Elbaz and Lucas Ossendrijver.
