It was July 9th 2012 when I finally sat down and thought about a starting up a blog. After about a year of following other online portals, I wanted to create my own page and write my vision and take on Fashion today.
My first blog Ohmyprada.com was a fun and quirky title that originated from HBO hit series Sex and the City, where Carrie Bradshaw swears to god but uses Prada instead. Two years later, it didn’t quite sound fun yet professional and really capture my vision on what I intended it to be, so I felt and knew I had to change the name. Although with a cringe title in line, with just pure luck – season after season, I started to travel after being invited to runway shows across the world reporting on trends and the season’s trends ahead, with a combined social following of nearly 100,000 followers, I started to get sent front row invitations. There the title stuck – I was editing with my vision on the front row. Rubbing shoulders with Iconic names like Suzy Menkes of the Herald Tribune (then, now Condé Nast) and Bryanboy of bryanboy.com and various others. God it felt like a dream, but my dream soon became reality.
July 2014 just two years on from OMP, Front Row Edit began and with final work now done and way to much coffee and stress in consumption, I am excited to bring you this web portal all things Fashion and Beauty related with thanks to Creare for understanding my vision. Since launching, ohmyprada.com and frontrowedit.co.uk have reached over 100,000 readers. Both have been named ‘Fashion Forward’ and number 7 in CNN’s top bloggers across the world.
I hope you enjoy my posts as I have when writing them.
