GWYNETH PALTROW STUNS IN 1963 VALENTINO COUTURE AT THE EMMYS 2019

#SecondHandSeptember has fallen during the most eco conscious show season yet. The push for sustainable style is happening off the catwalk and on the red carpet too, as events such as the Green Carpet Awards shine a spotlight on brands making fashion a more ethical business.

Never the memorable one on the carpet, Paltrow tends to play it pretty safe when dressing for big events, but Gwyneth Paltrow took a bit of a risk in her vintage Valentino gown last night – and it certainly paid off. The actress looked amazing in the partly sheer monochrome gown with exaggerated feather sleeve detail, which was originally debuted in 1963.

The 1963 classic Valentino robe with a sheer neckline and standout floor-sweeping sleeves constructed from strips of sheer material. The look was accessorised with Giuseppe Zanotti heels and jewellery by mined-diamond brand, Harry Winston. She stored her hair down, together with her signature Paltrow heart half, making the classic quantity really feel extra fashionable.
